Q: Are the hair accessories handmade?A: Most of the bridal hair accessories are hand-made. And bulkier pieces like tiaras and crowns are manufactured by the suppliers from Korea.
-
Q: How to wear a garter?A: We all are different (bless that!) and we prefer different feels when it comes to the “snug”. Some brides like to wear the garter all the way up their tight, some prefer just above the knee. You know your body better than anyone else and as you measure your leg, you will be immediately guided by your gut, where the piece would feel the most comfortable for you! But if you would ask me, I would recommend you to wear your wedding garter palm above your knee. Press your hand just above your knee, the part above your thumb, where I think is the“sweet spot” :)
-
Q: How can I know my size?A: Take the tape measure (or a string) and wrap it around your leg: above the knee or wherever it feels the best for you. If you don't have a tape measure, use a piece of string, and then put the string against a ruler to get the desired length. Make sure that you are standing up to take the measurement. You will be standing most of the day, so it is good to measure it as close to the real wedding day as possible.
-
Q: Is every garter handmade?A: 100% YES!!! Every piece is made by hand, every bead and every crystal are applied by hand. I believe in mindful process, in putting love to each piece, the love that maybe you will feel whilst wearing it.
-
Q: I bought my garter early on, but now, closer to the BIG DAY it no longer fits. What can I do?"A: Nothing is over till you said “I do!” :) If you are getting closer to your wedding day, and you feel like your garter doesn’t stay put or is too tight- send me an email immediately on elementimalta@gmail.com I will arrange a pick up and quick adjustment at no extra cost!
-
Q: Can I wash my garter in the washing machine?A: Ohh please, don’t! I do not recommend washing the garter. If something happened whilst you were trying it on, or maybe whilst taking pictures, I would encourage you to use a little bit of sparkling water mixed with baking soda, and gently wipe the stained area.
-
Q: Do I toss my garter?A: But…Its too pretty :( I think it’s a strange entertainment tradition: to buy something so beautiful and then let your newlywedded husband to toss it? Nope, noooo! It is your day, and I believe you are the one that makes the rules. You can do a fake toss, you know, when your hubby tosses the garter to group of single men and afterwards you just takes it back :) Or you just allow your hubby to remove the garter in playful way in front of your guests ( or in the privacy of your bedroom)
-
Q: Can I return my garter?A: Returns and/or exchanges of the bridal garters are not accepted. A wedding garter is considered an intimate item, sort of like undergarments or bathing suits. Thus, returning or exchanging your intimate item is not possible. That being said, I have no interest in unhappy customer. I want to make sure that you are in love with your keepsake. If you have any questions, concerns or just want to chat before or after placing your order, please send me an email on elementimalta@gmail.com Sometimes all you might need just a small alteration.
-
Q: I changed my mind about the garter. Can I cancel my order?A: You will have 24 hours to cancel your order and the refund will be issued. You can also adjust the measurememts, during this period, by sending me an email on elementimalta@gmail.com After 24 hours- the beading starts :)
-
Q: My garter feels funny. How is it supposed to feel?A: It can be an unusual feeling to put your garter on for the first time, since I'm guessing a bridal garter isn't a part of your day-to-day fashion :) Your wedding garter should be snug and feel like it will stay up and on throughout the entire wedding day from walking down the aisle to the last dance at the end of the reception. But it should not be tight or uncomfortable. Your garter might leave a mark or two on your legs, like socks, but it shouldn't cut off the circulation in your leg. If you have any concerns at all, email me on elementimalta@gmail.com to discuss.
-
Q: Do you make custom garters?A: Absolutely! I love creating something that you will keep in your family for generations to come! If you have your mothers or maybe grandmother veil- we can turn this into amazing heirloom piece! Drop me an email and I will arrange the rest :)
